Monica Press

Monica Press graduated
from UMD in 2007 with a major in CCJS. Her honors thesis was on the
relationship between parenting styles and delinquency. She is currently
pursuing her Masters of Education in School Counseling from the Counseling
and Personnel Services Department at the University of Maryland. Monica
also works as the Graduate Assistant for the Recruit-a-Terp Program with the
University of Maryland Alumni Association and Office of Undergraduate
Admissions Collaboration. Her career goal is to become a school counselor
in a high school, with a focus on helping underprivileged students find a
university that fits their needs.
Tanya Schmoeger

Tanya
Schmoeger graduated from UMD in 2007 with a double major in CCJS and
Psychology. Her honors thesis was on the efficacy of federal drug
policies in the United States. She is currently a graduate student at
the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, with a concentration in
International Security and Economic Policy. She is also a graduate assistant
at the Office of Extended Studies. Her career goal is to become an
intelligence analyst for the U.S. government.
