Sarah Boonstoppel is a PhD student in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her current research interests include the role of relationships during the transition to adulthood and desistance from crime. With Dr. Laub, she is working on a qualitative component to the Research on Pathways to Desistance Study. In this project, she is conducting in-depth, semi-structured interviews with former serious juvenile offenders in Philadelphia. |
