Student Page for Weiwei Liu [Home]              Status:  PhD On Market Student Weiwei Liu entered the Ph.D. Program at the University of Maryland in 2005, with an M.A. in sociology from the Unviersity of New Mexico. Her research interest includes theory development in life course and developmental criminology, research in the education-crime relationship, prevention research in violence and delinquency, criminal specialization, and advanced statistical methods. She is currently working on her dissertation which deals with investigating the mechanisms which help to explain the effect of high school graduation on later adult offending.
