Sara Betsinger, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice, is a faculty researcher at the University of Maryland's Institute for Governmental Service and Research (IGSR). Her research interests include problem-solving courts, federal sentencing, corrections, and national drug policy. She received a M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University.
