The Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity and Criminal Justice Association sponsored program, “Gun Safety, Identification, and Awareness” was successfully presented last Thursday evening, March 14th at the Marie Mount Hall Multimedia Room.  CCJS students,  Sarosh Asadullah, Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Social and Community Service Chair; and Scott Koogle, Criminal Justice Student Association President,  began the program introducing Captain Bob Mueck and Captain Ken Calvert of the University of Maryland Police Department and Tom Mauriello, CCJS Adjunct Professor and Host of the forensicweek.com webcast show that broadcast the entire event. 
 
The program emphasized how to deal with a situation involving a gun; when and how to report such an event; and how to recognize the different types of guns and make them safe.  Click here to view the program.
