This seminar provides an overview of the methods of meta-analysis.  The focus will be on a conceptual understanding of the main aspects of meta-analysis, including the basics of computing effect sizes and analyzing them.  The seminar will address both fixed and random effects models and the statistical methods used to explore the relationship between study features and observed effect sizes (i.e., moderator analysis).
