Along with other international researchers and practitioners, doctoral candidate Brook Kearley was invited to speak to members of France's judiciary. The conference, sponsored by the Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature (ENM), was held in Paris during the third week of December 2015 and was on the topic of Offending and Addiction. Kearley's presentation was titled "Long Term Effects of Drug Court Participation."
This spring, Kearley will be teaching "The Sociology of Crime and Criminals" at Loyola University Maryland in the Sociology Department
